Hey! You Made It
Welcome!
Heard the one about the guy who's speaking frantically into the phone, "My wife is pregnant, and her contractions are only two minutes apart!"
"Is this her first child?" the doctor queries.
"No, you idiot!" the man shouts. "This is her husband!"
You know, there really isn't a better time in history to become a doctor.
Health issues are at an all time high, and the predictions are that there will be a shortage of medical staff all over the world; a shortage of over a million medical staff in a few years in the United States ALONE!
It's my dream to help millions of people to become medical professionals, and that's why I started The Apprentice Corporation.
It's funny how it works. By me helping you achieve your dreams, you'll be helping me to achieve mine.
BUT, making your or my dream a reality won't come easy and it won't be free. Medical school is expensive.
As a basic member of The Apprentice Doctor's Club, you have access to incredible value without any cost to you. For example, you get an awesome newsletter from me, and an opportunity to connect and make friends with others who could one day be your colleagues.
In the coming months, I'll give you some great tips and share with you secrets that will help you on your voyage into the world of medical doctors, professional nurses and specialist surgeons.
Would you like to know about my operation on a guy with a six inch dagger stuck in his skull?
How about the raging battle between scientists and a super strong breed of micro-organisms called SUPER-BACTERIA.
Have you ever seen an eye transplant?
I'll also discuss ideas with you on starting your own medical practice, and how to make it incredibly successful. So even if you're already in medical school, you will benefit tremendously.
It doesn't matter whether you're still in school or out of school, we'll work through the whole process from start to finish - step-by-step.
In the meanwhile, if you're still in school, focus on getting really good grades for Math and Science, preferably higher grade.
Ok, I'll speak to you again soon,
Dr Anton
President of The Apprentice Corporation

Enjoy it?

Dear Dr. Anton,
My main goal in life is to practice medicine one day. Currently, I am a junior in my undergrad studies and majoring in Biology. However, I have noticed that math and chemistry aren't necessarily my strongest points! How much do I have to really know from both subjects when/if I become a doctor?

are my undergrad grades good enough

hi doc
I am in the process of applying to medical school in the UK. This is quite a brave venture because I am a South African and cannot afford the royaly shocking fees. However I am searching for scholarships and funding. This year I am engaged in my honours year and my project revolves around breast cancer research. Thus as you can tell I have an avid interest in medical sciences and the next step in my life is medicine. Could I send you my undergrad results and other academic documents to evaluate? This would be most appreciated. I need a really good opinion from someone who has been through the system and can tell me whether or not I stand a chance. Thank-you

Maths

Dear Poshie95
Bottom line is you have to become good at maths - work harder and smarter, go for extra lessons - whatever it takes!

Too Young To Do Anything

Dear Doctor,
I'm only 10 years old but I've always wanted to become a doctor. I know I already have perfect grades, but is there anything else a person my age can do?

The importance of maths

Jamey - a "B" in mathematics is just fine. Mathematics does assist one in basic logic thinking, and doctors do need a lot of that when diagnosing diseases. On the other hand, some studies have concluded that students excelling in languages do make great doctors. In the final analysis good marks in mathematics will be to your advantage. Also keep in mind that medical schools select students mainly on the basis of their performance with the pre-med degree.
