Shadowing Trip to Kenya – March-April 2024

When: During the March-April 2024 school break (exact dates to be finalized)

Who: Aspiring medical professionals Grades 10-12

Reservation Deposit: $350 (non-refundable and payable by 31 December 2023)

Program Fee (excl. res. dep. above): ±$1,775 per student

The cost is inclusive of: 

1. A comprehensive pre-departure guide.
2. Customized clinical rotations.
3. Airport transfers.
4. Hospital Placement Fees
5. Designated mentors and support from local staff.
6. Gated, safe and comfortable houses.
7. In-house catering.
8. Wi-Fi access.
9. 24/7 in-country support.
10. Biweekly global health tutorials.
11. Two-way transport to your clinical site.
12. Basic Swahili lessons twice a week.
13. Certificate of participation on program completion.
14. Volunteer activities (as per schedule by our local staff).
15. A chance to explore and travel: safaris, excursions, and mountaineering as optional add-on activities.

Not included in this fee (approximately):

1. Airline ticket: Add in the region of $500
2. Spending money: Add $120 – $250
3. The reservation deposit of $350
4. An optional 3-day wildlife safari: ±$450 (to be finalized)
